The best time of day to visit Disney Springs
Go in the evening. After sunset the waterfront lights come on, live music starts on several stages, and the restaurants are buzzing. Every shop is open, the crowds spread out, and it simply feels different than it does at noon. The worst time to go is weekend midday, roughly 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, when tourists, families and locals all arrive at once.
Morning, 8 to 10 a.m.
The walkways are open but most shops and restaurants are not. A morning visit only makes sense for a quiet walk with coffee from Joffrey's or Starbucks, which open early, or for weekend brunch. Homecomin', The Boathouse and Raglan Road start weekend brunch around 9 to 10 a.m.
Midday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Everything is open. On weekdays midday is pleasant, with moderate crowds. On weekends, especially Saturday, this is the busiest stretch of the week: garages fill, walkways get tight and popular restaurants quote long waits. If Saturday midday is your only option, arrive before 11 a.m. and start in Town Center, which tends to be calmer than the Marketplace.
Evening, 5 p.m. to close
This is Disney Springs at its best. Raglan Road's patio music starts around 4:45 p.m., the stages at Waterview Park and the AdventHealth Waterside Stage pick up, and the whole waterfront glows. Monday to Thursday evenings are the sweet spot: all the atmosphere without the shoulder-to-shoulder crowds. Friday and Saturday nights are the liveliest and the most packed.

Thanksgiving week through New Year's Day is the busiest stretch of the year, especially in the evenings when people come for the holiday entertainment and the Christmas Tree Stroll. The quietest seasons
January after New Year's through mid-February, September and early October are the lightest times. Weekday evenings in those months have the smallest crowds and the best chance of walking into restaurants that are normally booked 60 days out.

Add a late dinner to a park day
Disney Springs stays open two to three hours later than the parks on most nights. When EPCOT or Hollywood Studios closes, usually 8 or 9 p.m., hop on a free Disney bus from your resort and go to dinner. Many restaurants seat until 10 or 11 p.m. It stretches your Disney day with no extra ticket and no park reservation.
Take a rest day
A full day at Disney Springs is a real rest day, not a wasted one. Arrive around 10, do brunch at Homecomin' on the weekend, shop Town Center, catch a matinee at the AMC or bowl at Splitsville, then have dinner at The Boathouse or Morimoto Asia. Venue hours worth knowing
- Gideon's Bakehouse: opens at 10 a.m., and the line starts before opening on busy days. Go right at 10 or after 9 p.m. for the shortest waits, and check the app in case a virtual queue is running.
- Drawn to Life by Cirque du Soleil: performances Tuesday through Saturday with matinee and evening times, and no shows on Sunday or Monday. Check the schedule for your date and book ahead for weekends.
- Splitsville: open from 10 a.m. until 1 or 2 a.m. After 10:30 p.m. Thursday to Saturday the second floor is 21 and over. Reserve a lane for evenings.
- House of Blues Sunday Gospel Brunch: seatings around 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. It sells out regularly, so reserve well ahead.
- Weekend brunch: Homecomin' Rise 'n Shine Brunch (Saturday and Sunday), The Boathouse and Raglan Road. Reservations open 60 days ahead.

- The perfect first visit: arrive between 4 and 5 p.m. on a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. Walk the waterfront from the Marketplace through The Landing to Town Center and the West Side, eat at a restaurant you booked ahead, catch some live music, and leave around 9 or 10. That is the whole Disney Springs experience in four or five comfortable hours.

- Give yourself more time than you think: a "quick dinner" at Disney Springs almost always turns into three or four hours once you start walking the waterfront.
